Since last week I successfully completed the three day detox I've decided each week I need to set a goal for myself and for the house -since with our crazy non-sensical schedules (well mostly my schedule which can vary every two weeks or even days within the week), and our regimented yet laid back weekends something has got to give. I used to think hardwood floors were fabulous - yeah if you have time to devote to clean them every day, have a maid or do not have two furry creatures that shed like crazy! There is cat and dog hair everywhere and as much as I sweep, swiffer and use the shark it is driving me nuts.
So here is my personal goal for this week: Eat only one plate at each meal and walk every day.
House goal for the week: Deep-clean all the floors with the shark
Maybe I should give Alan a goal too ...hmmm that's pushing it! It's an early week so bedtime for me, of course I will probably miss most of the football game - GO STEELERS!!!

ReplyDeleteHi Colleen! Thanks for reading and commenting. My personal goals lasted oh about a month. I tried to eat only one plate at each meal this was typically doable at breakfast and lunch but dinner (depending on what it was) I often splurged. I am snacking more so usually a small breakfast, some snacks, small lunch, snacks and dinner do it for me. I am currently using My Fitness Pal and training for a 5k so I've got that too!
ReplyDeleteMy house goals of deep cleaning the floors - yah that hasn't really happened. Friday night I spent cleaning the house like a crazy person for 4 hours, I got to sweeping the floors but not thoroughly cleaning - we're thinking about carpet in the bedrooms so that may help.
