Firstly, let me tell you I did this 3 day detox diet. It is supposed to kickstart your metabolism while cleansing sugar and caffeine from your system. It worked fairly well. I never weighed myself since we don't have a scale...but I did feel less bloated. You do it for 3 days and then resume a normal eating regiment for 4-5 days and you can do it again. It wasn't too bad. A few times I had some cravings. There is a variation of it including more protein including some fish and more veggies and fruits I may try out. I'm doing weight watchers too. Last time I was on it I lost 66 pounds. My ideal weight is about 100 pounds lighter, but I'll be content with even 60. I have dealt with weight issues my whole life no matter weather it was eating good or bad so I'm not sure what to think. Blood test came back everything was great and no thyroid issues, it's just frustrating when I can't seem to lose weight and I watch what I eat and don't binge on junk! The only thing I splurge on is coffee and when I have it at home it's either black or one teaspoon of Splenda and if I get it out it is nonfat or lite. I know I do not exercise as much as I should. I run around during outside time with my kiddos at work and hopefully now with cooler weather I can get into a walking routine again. I do work around the house. So any tips would be greatly appreciated!

We went to get the dog microchipped today, needless to say it didn't happen. Poor Geno is so scared of everything and there were a ton of dogs there. We thought we had a great idea getting there early (well so did everyone else!) They were having a rabies clinic also and well needless to say Geno was freaked out and it started to rain. On our way home poor Geno got sick in the car (hey at least I wasn't driving this time - Alan always says he gets carsick from my driving). Not sure what to do for the lil guy - he didn't even eat this morning and still got sick. I've never had a dog get carsick before and I love to drive that's a problem! He's special but we love him!
